Who we are
Info Packet is run by Quiet Leverage LLC.
Public agencies and service providers use Info Packet to send people a private link to information they asked for. The agency or provider that sent your link chooses what is on your page.
What we do not keep
- We do not ask for your name.
- We have no place to store your name, what happened to you, or notes about you.
- You do not need an account, and there is nothing to sign in to.
- Your page does not use cookies.
- Your page has no ads and no ad trackers.
What we keep when we send you a link
- If we text you: we use your full phone number only to send the text. We do not save it. We keep only the last 4 digits.
- If we email you: we use your full email address only to send the email. We do not save it. We keep only the first letter and the part after the @, like j***@example.com.
- The time the person who sent your link said you agreed to get a text.
- When your link was sent, and which documents and information are on your page.
- The topic of your page, picked by the person who sent it.
- Sometimes a reference number, if the agency chose to add one.
- If your page has official notices, a copy of them, saved the first time you open your link.
What we count when you use your page
We count when your page is opened. We also count when you open a document, tap a phone number or tap a website link on your page, and which language you pick.
These counts are tied to your link. They are not tied to your name, phone number or email.
If you scanned a printed card, we do not know who you are. We count the same kinds of taps, tied to the card, not to you.
Your phone remembers the language you picked, so the page shows it next time. This stays on your phone.
To keep the service safe, we use your internet address (IP address) to stop too many requests from one place. We keep these counts only for a short time.
Who can see it
- The agency or provider that sent your link can see that it was sent, the last 4 digits or the short email form above, and whether your page was opened.
- Our staff look at records only when they need to, for example to fix a problem.
We do not sell or share your information
We never sell your phone number, your email or any information about you.
We never share your phone number, your email or your agreement to get texts with anyone for marketing.
Companies that help us
These companies help us run Info Packet. They get only what they need to do their job.
- Twilio sends our texts. It gets your full phone number to send the text.
- Resend sends our emails. It gets your full email address to send the email.
- Supabase stores our records.
- Render runs our website, in the United States.
- Cloudflare runs our domain and may carry traffic to our website.
- Upstash counts requests by internet address, to stop too many requests.
Twilio keeps its records of our texts for 7 days. Resend keeps its own records of our emails for a limited time, under its own rules.
How long we keep it
We keep the record of your link for as long as the agency or provider that sent it chose: from 1 to 7 years. If they did not choose, we keep it for 3 years. Then it is deleted on its own.
The counts from your page are deleted at the same time as the record of your link.
Counts from printed cards are totals only. They are not tied to any person.
Texts
We send a text only after the person who sent your link confirms you agreed to get it.
Most people get one message for each request. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to stop messages. Reply HELP for help.
Keep your link private
Anyone who has your link can open your page. Share it only with people you trust.
Clear this page from your phone
Your phone may keep a list of pages you opened. You can take this page off that list.
On an iPhone (Safari):
- Open your bookmarks. Tap the book button at the bottom, or tap ••• and then Bookmarks.
- Tap the clock button to see your History.
- Swipe left on this page, then tap Delete.
On an Android phone (Chrome):
- Tap the three dots at the top right.
- Tap History.
- Tap the X next to this page.
Next time: open your link in a private tab. On an iPhone, that is a Private tab in Safari. On Android, that is an Incognito tab in Chrome. Your phone does not keep a list of pages you open there.
What the Quick exit button can and cannot do: it takes you off this page right away, so the Back button does not bring you back to it. It cannot take this page off the list of pages you opened before. It cannot close other tabs. It cannot remove files you saved, or the list of recent files in the app that opens your documents.
Your choices
To ask about a link sent to you, contact the agency or provider that sent it. You can also email us.
We do not keep your name or your full phone number or email, so we may not be able to find your record from those alone.
Children
Info Packet is not made for children. Sometimes a link is sent to a young person. We keep the same small amount of information for them as for everyone else.
Changes
We may change this page. When we do, we will post the new version here with a new date.
